Computer Showcase was founded in 1990 by Mark Whisenhunt as a computer reseller focused on the small business market. His brother, Eric, joined the business two years later. During the past two decades, the business has evolved into a technology consulting firm providing end-to-end solutions for small and mid-sized companies. The services offered span the entire technology lifecycle — from strategic planning and budgeting, through implementation and integration, to ongoing support and maintenance.

And while the technology-based products and services may have changed over the years, the company’s core philosophy has remained the same – do what’s best for each customer based on their individual circumstances. There is no “one solution fits all” mentality. Comprehensive solutions are developed based on a company’s size, industry, budget, tolerance for risk, and the personal preferences of the business owner.

Mark and Eric grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. Both graduated from Walt Whitman High School. Mark holds a degree from the University of Denver in Business Administration. Eric is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Mark got involved in technology while working for another PC reseller prior to starting his own business. Eric worked as a magazine editor before joining the company.


Giving Back

Both are active in the community. They serve in leadership roles for the Boy Scouts of America, their churches, and various Chesapeake Bay conservation organizations.
